Sudden Paralysis
One day, out of the blue, my dog Bentley suddenly lost his ability to use his back legs. I, of course, was devastated, and I immediately thought the worst. Since he is an older dog, I was certain that he would never be able to walk again. So I ordered him a set of wheels to help him get around. Ellie had been working with a lot of our dogs at Karma Rescue. And when I mentioned Bentley's condition to her, she immediately offered to come see him and give him a session that day. Even though the session only took about 15 minutes, she said that the full effects of it could take up to about two weeks to fully manifest a change.
Well, a few days went by, but I could see nothing happening, and my poor baby still could not walk. The wheels arrived, but I hadn't even opened them
yet, because about a week later, Bentley took his first steps. I could hardly believe my eyes. It was just a few steps, but he was able to use his back legs.
Each day, he got better and better. And within the two weeks after his session, he was able to completely walk again.
Thank you, Ellie. For helping Bentley and for being the calming and loving support for us during that time.
